This past year, Idaho families have faced rising costs on nearly every front. For parents already living on the edge, the price of diapers can be the difference between stability and crisis. Because of you, thousands of Idaho babies did not have to go without this basic need.
Idaho Diaper Bank is scaling a simple outcome: getting diapers to families who need them. Through 40+ partner agencies, we support over 3,500 babies each month and have distributed more than 7 million diapers since our founding. Each number represents a child who stays clean, a parent who can work, and a family with greater stability.
That impact is driven by disciplined growth. Revenue increased from $218,191 in 2023 to $308,186 in 2024, while our program service ratio improved from 89.2% to 91.4%. That margin matters. It means more of every dollar is converted directly into diapers. In 2023, nearly 875,000 diapers were distributed—clear evidence that when efficiency improves, impact expands.
The connection is direct: margin enables mission. Stronger financial performance increases our ability to purchase and distribute more diapers to more babies across Idaho.
Demand continues to rise, and we are operating with lean reserves to meet it. The model is working. The next step is strengthening the financial foundation to scale it.
The outcome is clear: more diapers, more babies served, and stronger families statewide.
